Core finding #2 —> Uncertainty about different interim solutions and where to find interim managers

For those respondents who hadn't yet tapped into interim management, a lack of awareness was evident. Traditional interim management (where an interim is used to fill a gap left by an employee leaving suddenly) was well known, but many other types were not.

When asked about their biggest barrier to interim management, several respondents said they didn't have any need for one, even though they had mentioned challenges within their company — like scaling technology or finding suitable M&A targets — that could be tackled through an interim assignment.

Finding suitable interim managers was also found to be a major barrier, underlining the need for interim service providers, like Ferovalo, to better explain what we do and promote our service for finding quality interim professionals.
